Eilat is the southernmost city in Israel. Surrounded by desert and on the coast of the Red Sea, the city is dedicated 24/7 to hosting tourists.
The city offers an extensive range of hotels suited to different budgets, restaurants with a wide array of cuisines, and a variety of tourist attractions. Eilat boasts some of the most pleasant beaches in the world on the shores of the calm Red Sea, where you can even swim among people-loving dolphins that are happy to play with you. And just in case you think Eilat is too far, remember there are so many great attractions in Eilat that the city was ranked the sixth-best place to visit in 2019 by the New York Times.

Not far from Eilat, you can find you can find impressive national parks in the heart of the desert. Among these parks, we especially recommend Timna Park. Less than an hour's drive from Eilat, the park offers amazing archaeological sites, accommodation, pedal boats on an artificial lake and many more enjoyable activities – and don’t forget to fill a bottle with colored sand.
A short distance from Eilat, you can cross over to Jordan, our neighbor with which Israel has a peace treaty. In Jordan, we recommend visiting Petra, one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Petra was an ancient Nabataean city, famous for the red-rose color of the rock from which many of the city’s structures were carved. In the heart of the desert, the ancient Nabataeans carved huge impressive burial palaces in the red stone that remain standing in their entirety to this day. Near Petra, you will find wonderful hotels offering the best Jordanian hospitality.

Our team will be glad to help you organize a trip to the Negev and to enjoy the best attractions in Eilat, which can also include a visit to Petra and swimming with dolphins.
